Currently, I live in Sonoma, California. In any particular day I drive all over both Napa and Sonoma Counties, and often travel more broadly. I also get down into the San Francisco Bay area regularly.

Samples and Commissions
If you have an interest in sending me sample bottles or inviting me to an event please contact me at lilyelainehawkwakawaka (at) gmail (dot) com.
I do not solicit samples and do not keep an annual tasting schedule. I do accept samples when offered, if they are something I can give sincere time to tasting, and would consider writing about. When I do receive samples, I give the bottles time to rest before opening, then when possible organize tastings by theme–region or type, for example. Generally I taste upon opening, again that evening, then again the next day. I do not write about every sample received, and select only those wines that I can deliver reasonable commentary. This will usually turn out to be an individual wine or portfolio that has grabbed my interest, or wines that were included in a comprehensive themed tasting.
I appreciate attending wine events ranging from panels, to master classes, to trade tastings. Generally I make a point of tasting a majority of wines with due attention, and to take ample notes on the information shared as well. Again, I do not necessarily report on each event attended, but instead select those from which I am able to share information.
I also give talks, draw custom comics, and write freelance. If you’re interested in commissioning me, please contact me at lilyelainehawkwakawaka (at) gmail (dot) com.
