The October issue of Wine & Spirits – on newsstands now – includes an eight-page feature article I wrote on the history of Chardonnay in the Central Willamette Valley. The piece considers key moments for the variety in the region, while mentioning numerous producers to focus on the cultivar, as well as its key vineyards, all through the lens of two of today’s exceptional wineries. It’s a piece I’m thrilled to see in print as it’s been several years in the making and I truly love the wines that inspired it.
